I used to go out to a lot of speed dating events. And while I ran into a few people who didn’t find it enjoyable, I thrived on the challenge of trying to connect with women in five, three or even in one minute.
I loved the excitement of not knowing what was happening. I loved the rush of trying to get someone to open up to me, but most of all I enjoy trying to discover interesting speed dating questions to ask my “dates.”
I realized that some of the worst speed dating questions you could ask were ones that women were going to hear again and again.

Top Speed Dating Question #5: What’s the one topic that you don’t want to talk about tonight?
This will help clarify right from the get go what she doesn’t want to talk about. This way you don’t start off with a question that will annoy her in the first five seconds.
Top Speed Dating Question #4: What’s something you secretly want to brag about but don’t get a chance to?
We all like to brag. We all like to talk about ourselves. But we rarely get the chance to tell other people what we are good at. If you are genuinely interested in knowing about her then ask this question to find out what she’s good at.
Top Speed Dating Question #3: Tell me three things you do that make you truly happy?
This is a twist on the old, what do you do for fun, or what kind of hobbies do you have. This also keeps the conversation positive and gets her to focus on happiness in her life.
Top Speed Dating Question #2: If you weren’t doing the job you had now, what would you passionately love to try?
Instead of asking people what they currently do, ask them what they want to do. If she tells you she loves her job, then you know she’s ahead of a lot of woman emotionally. But getting to know what she wishes for in life can truly connect you to her.
Top Speed Dating Question #1: Have you ever experienced the Cube personality test? (Google it, and get lots of practice on this one!)
This is a personality test that I’ve done several times on people. The trick is to study the test carefully and keep practicing. You can find the details on the Internet. The goal is to not finish the test completely but to keep the woman curious about what you are going to ask and say next about her. Leave a few parts of the test out, and let her know that you will get back to her after the event and give her the full interpretation of the results. This way it will give you a reason to go back and talk to the women you were most interested in.
